This National Action Plan on Illicit Drugs, provides nationally agreed direction for addressing illicit drug issues until the year 2003-04.

This National Action Plan on Illicit Drugs, agreed by all jurisdictions through the Ministerial Council on Drug Strategy, provides nationally agreed direction for addressing illicit drug issues until the year 2003-04.

The Action Plan identifies seven key strategy areas for preventing the uptake of illicit drug use, and reducing the harms associated with use:
